Check out the FAQs for the Guns to Gardens events. Compensation rates may vary, see event links for specifics.

If you’d like to host an event with Mike Martin and RAWtools, Shane Claiborne and RAWTools Philly, OR BOTH please fill out this form. We will do our best to create an event within your budget, that integrates the voices of people who have been impacted by gun violence, along with other musicians or artists. We will also send you the details of what is required to bring the blacksmithing equipment and do a LIVE demonstration, transforming a gun into a garden tool in your community.

RAWtools Colorado/National

  • May 9th – 10am to Noon – Guns to Gardens Safe Surrender Event – Most Precious Blood Catholic Church – Denver, CO
  • May 16th – 11am to 3pm – Toy Gun Exchange – Glennon Heights Mennonite Church – Lakewood, CO. See flyer here and backside here for list of events and what toy guns are accepted!

    RAWtools Buffalo

    • June 20 – noon to 2pm – Blacksmithing demo – forging gun parts into garden tools or works of art at the Scarsdale Friends Meeting in Scarsdale, NY
